The cosmic egg was used in a DC story later on so it is canon for Post-Crisis DC and the Marvel wikia lists it as the 616-Avengers involved, but did Marvel sweep it under the rug and pretend like it didn't happen or it is accepted as a thing that exists? As with all inter-company crossovers, it really doesn’t matter, as we can’t mention them after the fact. Is a thing still in continuity if you can’t talk about it? Some will answer yes, some no.
